Lonely,
misunderstood,
Beast with in,
Lost...
Caged
Trapped in a room,
Trapped in a room with no air.
Fighting,
Rampaging,
Waiting,
Oh waiting,
Thinking of all things unfair.
Wishing they knew,
Not sure they'd understand.
would they care?
Unfair,
Unfair!
They preach,
And they mourn,
But why should we,
Have to deal with their scorn?
The endless ridiculing,
The hours of pain,
Lost in a world,
Feeling no gain,
Enraged with sorrow,
Longing to be free,
We run and we hide,
Thinking they'll see,
See the monster they make us out to be,
For they fear what they don't understand.
They don't understand we long to be free,
they don't understand what we are,
We,
Try to be bold,
And swallow our instincts,
And wind up in tears,
Heaped on the ground
Destined to be trapped,
Trapped in our own mined and body,
Unable to express our true nature,
Forced to try and "blend"
Blend in indeed,
Think of what they do,
On a regular basis,
Dye their hair,
And pierce their bodies,
And lie,
And lie,
Based on stupidity,
Not on truth,
They say we're evil,
We're ridiculous,
Insane,
All we want is a chance at th freedom they have,
The chance to be ourselves as we were meant to be
But they shout,
And they hate,
Because,
'We don't understand',
They think we're all crazy,
Look at your hands,
What have they done?
How have they lied?
Why do you run?
From what you are,
What you were,
So much regret,
Don't beget,
The misunderstanding.
