Drops of poisonous jealousy are burning my heart

When I see you are rising above me My God:

Who am I at your feet down here stuck in mud?

Am I really your child?

If you created me kind, why not I'm kind?

If I'm not meant to be evil, why do I feel hate and anger inside?

If everyone's equal, why can't I rise you beside?

Why is that to get to the Light,

We need to see the Dark side?

If there is no white without black,

If there is no black without white,

What are we all trying to prove and to whom?

Why does the Truth need to be covered by Lies?

Why can't we just happily live our lives?

Why our love can't we realize?

And while some are celebrating their Empire,

The others are in poverty and hunger?

Our wars are destroying us stronger and stronger,

And it seems we are not able to find peace any longer...

Down here stuck in mud, who am I at your feet?

When I see you are rising above me My God,

Drops of poisonous jealousy are burning my heart...
