I was bitten by the writing bug while relaxing during a rain shower.

Sitting by an open window on a summer's rainy day brings to me the clearest memories of you. Your voice and strength hide in the distant booming of thunder. Your lingering touch, in the cool, fresh breeze. And the nervous way your foot would tap in the uncertain but steady beat of the rain. I lay down and curl up in the refreshing breeze, but would prefer your warm embrace.
