Ritualistic Prayer

On Bended Knee, I am starving while my hands are praying,

The words that form my prayer become an echo bouncing off my walls,

This habit forming ritual became meaningless, became me,

Pleading instead of praying, The bearer of so many needs,

the form life becomes because of people like me,The Empty mould we create, and become patents of emptiness,

Soon the world will be us…..
