All this hatred in this world

Can't we all just be friends?

Love your neighbor as yourself

That's what MY Bible says!!

Jesus Christ died for your sins AND mine

Now you just deny him

Tears fall each time of think of

The cat of 9 tails, the pain, the crown of thorns

Does this mean nothing?

"Father, forgive them for they know not what they do"

i didnt really love this poem (im sorry, please dont hate me or send like super negative thoughts or anything horrid, im sorry)because the speaker seemed a bit closed minded, and the words you accented almost made it seem a bit snotty, i almost felt like by reading this poem that i was beneathe the speaker, and the speaker seemed so confident that it was unsettling, because it almost felt a smigen like she was preaching so energetically because she felt the need to, idk, to maybe convince herself and not others? your poem seemed so sure, that it made me, as a reader, a bit difficult to relate, people are rarely sure in life, and i think at least if your unsure its because you considered every possible opinion. please dont hate me because you may have thought that i was trying to take yor beliefs away because i promise im not, i just cant help but wonder if your wrting to envoke thoughts, so your readers will have something to play with and ponder in their minds, or if you were trying to prove what a great follower you are, im just assuming, and may be totally wrong, i do ask that you consider it... im super sorry if im just wasting your time or hurt you feelings or anything... have a stupendous day!

I like this poem, it is very sincere. It kind of seems to skim over the fact that Christians aren't perfect either, though.
Maybe if it was less personal (ie: changing "I" to "we")? It wouldn't sound as "you should be like me" but rather like "hmmm, we've got some work to do".
Does that make sense? I hope it doesn't offend you, because I'm sure you weren't trying to write it in a hypocritical or belittling tone. I'm sure your heart was in the right place. But the wording can be taken the wrong way and that's exactly what people are looking out for. Just like we notice right away when someone does something unbiblical, people recognize it when Christians sound even slightly prejudiced. I don't know. That is my only advice. It's all up to you, in the end.
God bless :)
(PS: haha, my computer is telling me to change "unbiblical" to "umbilical". Just thought I'd share)

Sorry, but I COMPLETELY disagree with "thegirlwhofallsdownalot". Christians are suposed to be sure of themselves, God, Jesus, where they are going after they die. Those are just some things. I could copy the whole Bible on here and that is what Christians should be sure of. I'm happy that you put his up. :) It was short, sweet, and to the point! Yes, Christians are not perfect, but they try to be, because that is what they should do. Jesus died on the cross and EVERY sin that has been in the world until this point and EVERY sin that will ever be, Jesus took ALL of that with Him to the cross. It's very sad that He had to go through that much pain. Just think about that whenever you think of doing somehting wrong. You are just inflicting more pain on Him. The soldiers striped his clothes, put his stomache to a tree stub, and whipped Him with broken glass on the end of their lether whip. He bled very badly. And then they spit on Him. Do you know how much that would hurt? And then they put a purple robe on His back, making the pain worse. The robe would have clung to the blood, it would have gotten stuck there, then they would have riped it off. Talk about OUCH!!! And then, they dug a three inch thorns into his head. And stuck SPIKES (nails) through His hands and feet. And that was just the beginning. You couldn't possibly emagine what pain He went through. You just can't. Anyways, sorry about my lecture. ;) Loved this!

God bless!
