One day I walk outside and discover that my breath is showing. There's a soft chill in the air that pricks my skin and reaches out it's cold fingers trying to ensnare me in them. I take a deep breath and inhale a clean, crisp scent that drifts towards me with a subtle hint of old, decaying leaves. I throw my jacket on and take a leisurely stroll to the nearby park. No one is about and the silence is like none other, not a single soul stirs within my sight. There is no chirping from the birds, barking from the neighborhood's dogs or laughing coming from the children who usually run about. I sit under the small forest of trees and inhale deeply once more and down in my soul slowly spreading I know without a doubt that Winter's first day in here.
