Took a look at me and told me she gave up
She couldn't recognize me anymore
Never again could she be sure she had me made up
Each day is a change from who I was before
The beauty blows in her eyes and smile
But she has no clue who I am anymore
I asked her if she would stay for awhile
But each day is a change from who I was before
And I woke up and I told her to leave
She couldn't recognize me anymore
She said "Who am I supposed to believe?"
Each day is a change from who I was before
I looked out the window over my life
I couldn't recognize me anymore
Dancing at the edge of the knife
I'll never be who I was before
