A poem. (Obviously, hehe:1) A lot of the time, especially when I go to school, this is how I feel that all humans are. Of course, I know that this isn't true. We can all make our own decisions, and we can all think for ourselves. (Hopefully). But sometimes, it really seems like we all just walk through black. We have no idea what we're doing. And we all let everybody else influence what we think and do. Unfortunaltely, when this happens, I feel like we all are just puppets. Anyone agree?

Human Imposter
A Poem by Rachael Falgout

In the mirror
A spectacle of me
Of you
Of us
Of everybody
Its all clearer
Through blinded eyes
Seeing everything
Seeing something
Nothing but lies
Going through black
In this heart-stricken way
Be this
Be that
That’s what we say
Be the puppet
Remember your lines
Don’t stumble don’t forget
Just follow the signs
Pull on the strings
Make us into the lie
No thought
No life
It’s a game until we die
