What Stays With You

Even if your gifts are gone,
Or if you're left all alone,
One thing you're not stripped of,
Is simply how you've grown.
Your lessons learned are safe and sound,
Through the fear and wind and rain,
It may be sad to loose such things,
But theres nothing lost that cant be found again.
Emptyness echoes from inside out,
But nothing's missing, you are whole,
In fact what you have done has just begun,
And you must continue to play your role.
