An older poem that you can visualize. I don't normally try to mix fantasy with the reality of my poems but the sentiment I was trying to convey was helped with it.

Underneath me is the city
with its problems and its noise
more ugly than it is pretty
getting sucked in it can destroy
that almost happened to me
until one day
a bubble was floating free
then it started towards my way
I tried to change its course
but on my back I discovered wings
and I was picked up by force
like a puppet with strings
there was no time to learn to fly
it was cold and I had no coat
I was so close to the sky
I decided to try to stay afloat
I used the time to think
All the while trying not to fall
Because I was very close to the brink
But learned I need to stay above it all.
