Miss Anne leaned in close, closing her eyes and at that second he could feel the tingle that emerged in his hands. He gave her a kiss, passionate in action as they stood there in the cold. They smiled and continued to stare at eachother's eyes, Mr Darcy never felt happier, all his stress and the pain that was overpowering was now washed away, like seashells on the shore. He began to smell her soft and rosy smell, they were so close, about an inch apart from their faces and they could feel the light shining in their eyes. The were just standing next to a street lamp and it was dark outside. Snow drifted downwards like jellyfish in seawater, the snowflakes were tiny and fluffy and as it hit Mr Darcy's cheeks Miss Anne begin to move even closer, kissing him even passionately. Mr Darcy loved Miss Anne, he could never ever be apart from her and he began to think about marriage. What if he got her a ring? What if he could by her a ring, maybe a moonstone? What if she said yes? All these questions made him feel all funny, it made him have a desire for her that he never felt. For sure she had put a stain in his heart and it could never go away.

''I'd like that ring,'' Mr Darcy said smiling to himself.

''This is diamond, even the little crests they're diamond,'' said the owner of the shop, but Mr Darcy was still not convinced.

''Have you got a moonstone ring?'' Mr Darcy asked wishing that there was.

''Yes, yes, but a few,''the owner began, ''here.'' He handed Mr Darcy a ring, it was deep purple with hints of baby blue, and there were many diamond crests on the moonstone. ''It's very rare, sir.''

''I like it,''Mr Darcy smiled, revealing his white teeth, ''how much?''

''Oh, that would be five hundred shillings, sir,'' he said politely. Mr Darcy began to bring out his shillings, counting them and handing it to the owner.

''Here.''

''Thanks sir.''

He walked out, ring in his hand, he put it in his black box and hid it into his pocket. He began to think up of ways on how he should propose to her, smiling and thinking up of his ways. He went to Miss Anne's house and proposed to her that night, he could not wait. She was brought over with joy, it was his first step to starting something fresh. For they were inlove.
