Gray spreads across an amber sky like a cancer.

Sirens fill the serene eve.

They are going to war.

With their armor they climb from their trotters.

They are the knights of the new age.

Her tongue lashes out in a fiery fury

and she taunts them.

She stands tall.

Her arms spread around the building like the wings of eagles.

She beckons them toward her

But they are not afraid.

With hearts of steel and unbreakable will

They clash with the beast.

She knows her defeat is within grasp.

And before long,

the battle is won.

She gives a final screech as she disappears into the night sky.

And all the remains of her prey

Stands like a giant with it's flesh torn from its bones.

Their faces are covered in soot.

And their expressions are stern.

For they know this battle will never end.
