Her heart aches.

She should have heeded his words.

They were so clear, so simple

He didn't want any more that what she was so easy to give.

She thought she was strong.

She thought that she could handle it all.

But now here she is

Wallowing in regret.

For all the things that she's done

For all the things that she's given to him.

And even after it all

She can't blame him.

She can only blame herself.

She was like the white crayon in a child's bucket

Ignored.

She was nothing.

Nothing to him and nothing to others.

No one ever looked at her

No one paid attention to her

And he was just like the rest

She was just a tool.

A dull one at that.

And as easily as she was used she was thrown away.

She wasn't strong enough for this.

She wasn't ready.

And her heart was weak.

How much longer would it be able to stand at the edge?

How long would it be before it took the leap

That would shatter it to uncountable pieces?

Repair would be impossible.

But what can she do?

She can only watch from below

Hoping

That someone would be able to save it.

But she knew no one would ever come.
