Something I thought of at midday.

Life is but one more take on reality,

Not at all the way you'd like it to be,

Disappointment and fear, shadows of doubt and mistrust,

Life is just a tainted taste of the truth,

Chaos and entropy where order and harmony used to be,

Tears to grief, and to show joy,

Smiles to mock, and to be coy,

Words, like wind, just blow away,

Too-often come back to haunt us on a different day,

The mask we wear is built of lies,

The life we build is always false,

Never allowing ourselves a moment of truth,

For fear of hate and excommunication,

Always hiding our true beliefs, our thoughts and doubts,

Lest they in turn be used against us,

As we use others' against themselves

you got that right! this world is definitely NOT what its supposed to be. I mean, what the hell happened to us? Most of us (cuz one person in a million people is actually a good person) are just pure disgraces to our human race. A poem like is what people need to read in order to see their true selves, no matter how much we try to deny it and pretend that we're good people. Good people, my ass.

Meh, good and evil are relative terms; one side always seems themselves as good and the others as evil, and the other side (the would-be evil) sees themselves as good and the others as evil.
