This is a free-verse poem about someone who is feeling very upset. Please be aware that this refers to suicide.

Dear Nobody

Dear Nobody,
Please help me.
I don't know
how to see myself.
I am a mess,
and I don't know
how to clean it up.

Dear Nobody,
Please help me.
The world is dying.
My spirits are dropping.
I don't know
how to mend the broken things.

Dear Nobody,
Please help me.
Everything has blurred.
The color is gone.
I don't know
how to see.
I don't know
how to hear.
I don't know
how to feel.

Dear Nobody,
Please help me.
Please save me.
Please answer.
My world is cold.
My cheeks are wet,
stained with tears.
My wrists are red.

Dear Nobody,
I think
my time has come.
I think
I'm no longer here.
I think
I'm gone.
I think
your services are no longer needed.
