Break the silence.
Why harbour the fear
It affects everyone far and near
Get it out in the open
The hold on you will be broken
Break the silence.
Why suffer the shame
Of a disease joined to your name
Don't hang you head
Look life in the eye instead
Break the silence.
Don't for a minute neglect
Your body or it will reject
Remedies crucial for your welfare
Of yourself you must take care
Break the silence.
Why go through distress
When you have chance to progress
Don't let this enemy
Rob you of your equanimity
Break the silence.
Why endure the pain
Everyone out here can gain
A new lease on life
In the midst of a virus that is rife
