I hope you like my poem. This short poem is about a beautiful lodge by the riverside. This poem seems to personify the very details of the lodge and makes the poem even more magical. Hope you like it!

The Beautiful Forest

As you watch the sun set beautifully over the horizon, the tranquil river glimmers as the light is passionately cast upon it's flowing surface. Theswift current seems to drag the sun away as if praying for tommorrow to come once again.

As the moon emerges from it's deep sleep a whole new world is unleashed upon the silent forest. Owls hoot, badgers scavenge for food, mice scurry across broken leaves in search of shelter and spiders lay their silky webs among the silhoutted trees and various plants scattered across the far reaches of the forest.

This is the time that predators strike upon their unsuspecting prey, fragile and weak but hidden underthe shadow of darkness. The night brings death to those who are weak and for others it is a struggle to survive as death follows them on swift feet.

The moon is a magnifecent sitefrom the riverside, so bold, it's flourescent glow so strange but so accepted by the great forest and it's tender creatures. The river's surface iscovered in a silver pool of glorious moonlight like a morror that gentleyripples in the soothing wind. What beauty, what grace lies here among the forest such a place to belong to this world is an oddity, a miracle if ever i have seen one.

And as the sun rises once more the forest carries onin it's own unique and wonderful way.
