She was to the left.
And her? Well, she was to the right
I? Well, I was slightly behind.
Not quite symmetrical but a pretty sight,
Because in the centre of it all was you.
By chords or perhaps a diameter?
Whatever it is that connects us to a whole,
We were joined together by your centre.
Your forgotten formula; r 2 or whatever it is.
Where we met we were one, circled, compete.
Then the value of x or y alluded us.
But the centre of you refused defeat.
It was then that our formula failed,
The impossible the illogical, the fall…
The diameter remained and so did the radius.
What left? The centre of it all.
