The Unwinnable Truth

People say we win wars, but wars are not really won.  Fires burn still in countries we've beat in violent battles.  We truely have not won anything, but we've lost many.  We lost lives, lost friends, lost family.  We've only lost.  Wars are unwinnable, because nothing meaningful is gained from killing people.  A life lost is not worth keeping our country for ourself.
We have government, but the truth behind that is simple: they send their citizens to war in order to keep their power.  It's quite selfish, if you think about it.
Even so, we're all the same race.  People confuse the term every day.  Our race is human, not black, not white.  So we're killing our own kind, like canibols.  It's terrible how we don't see the darkness of our choices.
We kill, we gain, we move on.  We kill to get what we want.  Humans are selfish.  Always about themselves.  Terrible species, we are.  We're cruel to each other and other animals.  With knowledge comes responsibility and power, and we seem to use it incorrectly.
