Booksie has a way of ignoring spaces so I had to make my own. Sorry.

From a park bench...

~

flowers bloom

~

leaves scamper

~

buildings peek over trees

~

and a young couple walks by
holding hands.

~

I've been having an imaginary conversation
with a girl that walked by two days ago.
She wore tight jeans and her dark hair
fell nicely around her shoulders

~

She never looked my way or even noticed me

~.

My loneliness can be pitiful sometimes.

~

I might as well be sitting on the moon.
