Some men will do anything for love.

Last night, my love,
while you were entranced
by charm-laced
whimsical dreams...

I stole the silver moon.

By his dust-prone cratered chin
I seized him with rope
and tied him
to the brightest star.

He's dangling
above the spongy beach bed
we made
when our fervent bodies
tossed, churned
like wild untamed lovers
under the luminous sky.

I'll threaten him
with daylight
and long sunsets
if he's unruly
while we make passionate love
under his radiant glow.

I have it on good word
he's a voyeur.

So be ready
with sandals,
and erotic ideas.

The moon will be full tonight.
And the sun,
preoccupied and weary,
will be looking the other way."
