One of my older poems, this one was written back in high school. It has been updated and changed for better structure.

I'm a race car driver.
I drive very fast.
But if I could drive faster,
I might not come in last.

When there's a crash,
You will find,
That I'm the safe one
Far behind.

The cars are fast
And very loud.
All they see is colors,
Instead of people in the crowd.

I choose not
To try and win.
I choose to lose
And save my skin.
