The Curse

Summary

A black cat runs
Across the path of a bunch of nuns,
A mirror shatters,
Under a ladder,
A woman screams,
And runs down stream,
She is frightened,
As her skin tightens,
She is in the woods,
Where the murderer stood,
She is superstitious,
She thinks he's fictitious,
Then she finds the truth,
And finally remembers her friend Ruth,
Who uncovered the crime,
But she didn't make it in time,
To stop the man from committing
This crime and, now his fate is put before a committee,
She is forced to wonder,
Will justice prevail or go under,
Will he walk or take the ride,
Will he have an ounce of pride,
Left after this,
This one's for you sis,
As she takes the stand,
It was him, that man,

It wasn't me sirs,
It was the curse.
