Sins of “Ana”

Still I hope for beauty,
Body in a fragile state.
Bones I yearn to see,
Perfection I can create.

Pain I’ll humbly take,
Tears I might as well cry
For a figure less than an eight
For a mirror that will not lie.

Sick? Please elaborate.
An addiction unable to escape.
A disease you cannot tolerate?
Perhaps, simply unfortunate fate.

Too little sweet, little too spice;
Impatience I know too well
And if life is the price
Then I am willing to sell.

Why yes, I am a sinner
Because I’d never be a winner;
Here, take away my inner,
I pray, just make me thinner
