i was board, poetry time

as i look into the dark

i hear a snarl then a bark

my life is flashing before my eyes

but what I'm in for is a surprise

as i wait for my demise

but out of the closet comes my dog

a little dachshund not deadly fog

nor a undead soldier come forth from smog

just a little puppy dog
