We live in a society where everything's about looks. Just let me contradict that.

You are so many things

Yet you choose to see

the many things you are not

You sit and sulk

Worrying so much

about things that don't define you

You wonder who notices

when you're not around.

I bet they all

Who wouldn't notice you?

You are your favorite foods

You are your favorite songs

You are the thoughts that keep you up at night

You are the books you can't put down

You are the way you push your hair out of your face

You are the way you make your coffee

You are the way you turn your newspaper on a saturday morning

You aren't a face

You aren't a gender

You aren't a weight

You are so many things

Yet you choose to see

The many things you are not
