He lay awake and his thoughts never stop

They're filled with smiles and equsite eyes

Awaits the day he can go to the shop

Where the beautiful girl works, making pies

Five blocks away he walks with a reason

His feet shuffle and leaves fall on the ground

His thoughts say What a wonderful season

Yet he walks faster, he is closer to town

His heart stops as he see's his only love

And here eyes twinkle as she smiles now

His heart, it aches, cause she is his beloved

Longing to talk but he doesn't know how

The saddest truth that will never alter

No love for him, yet his love won't falter.
