Children! Children of the world…I must let you in,
on the contents of a long-forgotten bin.

What if I lived my whole life as a game of chess,
would I be stranded amidst fallen pieces, lying in mess?

What if all I ever wanted, all I ever strived for was to achieve,
in meek efforts to have others just believe?

I never truly lived the life, lived the game, lived these moments just for me.
So who has been the actor playing my role; when will I be?

Children! Children of the world…don’t get it all frustrated.
on the whims of a society, never be baited.

Follow the four chambers of a life,
and cut the umbilical cord of assent with a knife.
