A A A

(My favorite rhymes, if I might so say,
are the words that end in an –ay.)

Please listen for a while, take in the stupendous stay.
These words give much more meaning to my dreamy day.
Hear the sounds of those who understand; look, the happy horses hay.
In cheer, let’s applause these words, yippee-yay.

Accordingly, I thrive in the coming month, May.
And I relish in long walks along the basking bay.
There comes a little, old boat to the quiet quay.
Beautiful! A world of –ay’s is gallantly gay.

Sometimes, under the sun I plan to do a loose lay.
And maybe sing along with the jolly jay.
Appreciate the sun as it smiles with rings of ray.
Take a bite of everything I can, never saying no nor nay.

Or, I get up to run around and playfully play.
No, silly, I never ever have to penny pay.
Once, I found myself in the cove cay.
These are the orders of my life, my worldly way.

Sorry, kind listener, time has come for me to walk away.
