Life goes on...

even though you are gone.

I am broken with pieces shattered here and there.

My body goes through the wear and tear.

How could you; you left me alone.

You promised me you wouldn't, and now...I cry and moan.

You deserted me,

How will I be?

Life goes on...

and yet, I feel so withdrawn.

I'm getting older and time keeps going.

It is flowing and flowing.

I stand here,

looking in the mirror.

You deserted me,

but I CAN BE!
