I accentually wrote this on July 8th, 2010.....but didn't get a chance to post it on here because of a virus that had attacked our home computer.
Some times we have to remember what is lost to see what is gained this is a poem yes the second one dedicated to my little brother his name is the title....it has been 6 years since his death he would be 13 i believe. i write a poem every year ether on the 9th of July or near it.....the tone is usually set by how my thought of the incident were at the present time of the writing i hope you enjoy and i look forward to ready any comments you feel you should add to this :)

also if this poem is not in poem format then i cannot fix it the box that edits the the format does not show on my screen, i am sorry if you have trouble reading this, if it helps copy and past it to a word document and format it to the left then read...this is only if you wish to...please enjoy and let me know what you think :)

~~Sooner then the days can end ~~Thoughts of the day ~~That your life ended ~~Plague me ~~No sooner have I forgotten ~~I’m forced to remember ~~Every year on a special day ~~We celebrate not the death ~~But the life ~~Of both brother and son ~~We commit to memory ~~Your smile and laugh ~~For those are what we will remember ~~On days of hardship ~~And sadness ~~For days so painful ~~To hard to bare ~~We will see you ~~When we close our eyes ~~To pray ~~Your face will give us hope ~~And fill us with the energy ~~Needed to face each day ~~It seems un-natural ~~~~~For you to be gone this long ~~A thousand words ~~Could not begin to describe ~~What six years with out you ~~Have done to us ~~Many thing have changed ~~And we are forced to think ~~How things might ~~Have differed ~~If you still walked among us ~~Still we know now ~~That its better where you are ~~The here where life is demented ~~We often wonder ~~How peaceful it must be ~~~~~No evil lurks at every corner ~~And when the sun shines ~~All you see is gold ~~I sit here wishing ~~I could see your face ~~Not just from pictures ~~Or memory ~~~~~But in dreams you may appear ~~To leave a message ~~Not yet decoded ~~To fill my days ~~Full of wonder ~~And as days turn into years ~~And the ninth of every July ~~The year is 2010 ~~Tomorrows’ the ninth ~~We will not celebrate the death ~~But the life ~~~Of a child ~~Pure in both ~~Body, mind, and soul ~~Forever in our hearts ~~Jeremiah Edward Sandusky.
