We've all had the liars
We've all had the cheaters
We've all had the backstabbers

We have heard it all
We have seen it all
We know it all

Baby, I've told this story over and over
Baby, it's hard to surprise me
Baby, nothing is new

I'm waiting for someone to make me feel alive
I'm waiting to be happy
I'm waiting for someone I've never met

Someone has to feel new
Someone will make me feel reborn
Someone will blow my mind

But even that someone I'll say . . .

We've all had liars
We've all had cheaters
We've all had backstabbers

We have heard it all
We have seen it all
We know it all

Everyone is the same today
Everyone has said the same
Everyone has felt the same

No need for stories
No need for secrets
No need to wonder

We know the game by now
We know what we like
We know what will happen

So I'll keep waiting for a new life force
For a new hope
For a new love
