When David was 10, his parents divorced. It was very hard on everyone involved. Both his parents decided to continue living in Reno, but he would only get to see his father every other weekend. When David was 11, his father took him on a summer vacation to Bozeman, Montana. What fun! On the way they go to Yellowstone National Park, and see tatanka(buffalo), Ole' Faithful, and even a moose. David thought it was a lot of fun. When they reached Bozeman, David and his father went fishing. David who had been noted in the past for having very keen sight, found a folded up piece of paper on the riverbank. "Look dad, look what I found." Said David. "Why, said Conrad, it's a car title." "Is there a phone number so we can call the owner?" Asked David. "Yes, said Conrad, (303) 244-8400." "Well then, said David, we better call it." They did just that, but the number was disconnected. "You know what this means, don't you David? Asked Conrad, It means we have to go to the address, and give it to him." So, they packed up the fishing gear and went to find the owner's residence. They found the house with no trouble at all. Conrad rang the doorbell with David at his side. An elderly man answered the door. "How may I help you?" The man asked. "My son found your car title down at the river, said Conrad, we just wanted to return it to you." The man's face turned grave. "Was the car down there?" He asked. "No, said Conrad, why?" "Well, said the man, my car was stolen a week ago, and I don't know what to do." "Wow, said Conrad, I'm sorry to hear that." "Let me get your son some money for returning my title." Said the man. "No need, said Conrad, he's spoiled as it is." "Well, thank you anyway for returning my title." Said the man. With that the man shut the door, and Conrad and David went on their way.
