The morning dew reminds us Summer’s ending
As falling leaves lay spread upon the ground
The hedges that were once home to the blackbird
Seem lifeless as they turn from green to brown.

The path is long from Summer until Springtime
Nature’s picture  alters every day
But with each change I’ll still be chasing rainbows
Giving thanks for the beauty God has send my way
