The beauty of the Autumn season

Summer's gone, she crept away unnoticed,
The Autumn morn, crisp and bright is here,
The mighty oak, her leaves are slowly falling,
Their rustling sound is like music to my ears.

I stand back and then take in their beauty,
The Autumn leaves, of yellow, red and gold.
I close my eyes, the gentle wind is blowing,
The gathering leaves nestle at my feet.

I want to dance and savour this great moment,
When nature share the secrets that she holds,
Before she comes and snatches back this beauty,
Leaving Winter,  with its bleakness and its cold.

Fall is my favorite time of year, but if I was winter, I'd be a little mad!
