Live like you mean it

Lack of success, but I know who I want to be.

The money, the fame. No, I still choose to be me.

Call me crazy, but I'm telling you the truth.

For only I, can live dreams from my youth.

The truth proud I state, for only I can be myself.

Repetitive words I drill. Be you, be yourself.

Let your drive get hungry, then let it feed.

Go solo. And if you dare, take on the lead.

Don't copy someone, just because it looks easy.

Embrace it. Get in elbow deep, get greasy.

Be the person that people can recognize.

Flaunt it, rock it. Don't dare use a disguise.

Say what you need to say, please be embarrassed.

Once was shy, with fear. But now they perished.

Explore yourself, pick apart your heart.

Build it stronger, part for part.

Lifes your lesson, so bring it to the table.

Be a piece of history, such as Aesop's fable.

Saddle up, screw what the critics state.

Live life real, take a pass on the hate.

Say "I just want you to know who I am."

Back straight, eyes locked. Do it like you give a damn.
