There exists a mystery in this world to which no individual may ever truly find an answer. Because of this phenomena, wars have been fought and lives have been lost, Cathedrals have been built and gardens have been made. It is the one global unifier: an omnipotent presence that stands paramount in all humanity whether young or old, rich or poor, black or white, atheist or pontifical. From the psychological to physiological it has both the ability to captivate and destroy in one fell swoop. It is a flush of warmth felt when shared with someone else and it is the sinking feeling in your chest when they are no longer there. It is said that it is better to have done this and lost it than to have never even tried, and in many ways this may be true. Plato, Newton, and Da Vinci all stood as legends of their time, but did they ever truly live? Is the one who stays at home night after night and raises children who will someday do the same any less noble? There will always exist free minds who maintain the ability to change the way society governs itself and yet they choose not to because of this one global unifier. This fact stands as a testament. There is a word that represents an idea. This idea can only be truly understood as a feeling and this feeling translates into a way of life: love.
