A family day out prompted this work, the drive over mountains was spectacular!

AT THE TOP OF THE WORLD

Where are we going?

There and back to see how far it is

And on the way we should see

The top of the world

What a place it will be

We will see for miles and miles

And nothing you can say

Will dim our smiles

At the top of the world

At the very top

Of the world

Where the sky meets the mountains

And the mist is the clouds

And the blue is so blue

It could easily be

The very edge of a heavenly sea

At the top of the world

At the very top

Of the world

And the heather there is

So soft and sweet

It tickles your feet

Right through your boots

Through your socks and your skin

And into your very soul it can creep

So soft and sweet and deep

At the top of the world

At the very top

Of the world

The road will wind and wriggle

Taking you to places new

And making your tummy giggle

As over the rim you go

Into the great unknown

To reach out and touch the sky

Oh my

What a day it will be

At the top of the world

At the very top

Of the world

So come on

What are we waiting for?

Now is the time

No waiting in line

Let’s climb aboard and go

It’s an adventure to take

A risk and a dare

But I want to be there

At the top of the world

At the very top, of the world

Brown Bear

Save this poem, and take your children here.

It sounded like a breath taking trip

Good read. Review my manga if possible
