People always said I was going the wrong way...Funny. It feels pretty right to me. Maybe, they should of took a different route; the one with the pretty flowers :)

Riding on a turtle back,

They say, you’re not going far.

Riding on a turtle back

They said, a mistake is what you are.

-

But, on this turtle back,

I can feel the sun from here.

But, with this turtle back,

I can watch the flowers cheer.

-

I’m riding on this turtle back,

They think that they have won.

While I’m riding this turtle back,

They say my life is done.

-

But, on this turtle back,

I can take a healthy breath.

But, on this turtle back

I can have a lasting rest.

-

And,

I’m…

Just…

Riding on this turtle back.

With my being in my pack.

I’m riding on this turtle back,

With my dreams in my pack.

-

But, on another path

They say that I’m a fool.

Those, on the other path,

Who laugh, don’t see the bloom.

-

But, on my turtle back,

I see the petals fly.

And oh, on this turtle back

I watch the butterflies.

-

I know, I didn’t pick the rush;

I wanted to see the world.

I know, I picked the other way:

With simple steps and foots.

-

And,

I…

Just…

Chose to ride this turtle.

And that’s just what I like.
