There was a man who met a girl,
She gave him a wink and a twirl,
Every day she came with a gift,
He never suspected something adrift,
One day she proposed to him,
Little did she know that he was dim,
For years he was nothing but her toy,
His life with his wife was no joy,
Then came a day he was found in a ditch,
Killed by his wife who turned into a bitch,
Dying from the wound he had in his back,
He swore vengeance on her attack,
His soul wanders through the astral plane,
Awaiting the day he will see her again,
In the darkness and in the light,
In the morning and in the night,
She stares at the walls in her room,
Her eyes bright in the gloom,
Hearing nothing but his screams,
She sees him in her dreams,
Mind and soul consumed by guilt,
Her lies causing her morale to wilt,
Heart and soul broken beyond repair,
Razor in hand, eyes full of despair,
She slits her wrists with precision,
Was this perhaps a hasty decision?,
Slumped against the wall, life ebbing away,
Death comes slowly, almost a day,
In a place of dark she stood cold with dread,
Is she afraid now she is dead?,
Her husband appears before her with a smile,
She wonders why he is not hostile,
A glimmer of hope she has, only to be denied,
With a chuckle and a smirk he watched as she cried,
