She walked along the deserted beach, her feet stung with every step she took, the sand burned her feet. The sun hung lifeless in the sky, scorching everything around her. Her name was Sophie.

She could feel her sweat dripping off her, but she didn’t mind. It beat being stuck in a dark room. Her long golden hair shimmered in the blazing heat. The waves flowed onto the beach, almost touching her.

She felt a shadow coming over her all of a sudden, it filled her with great relief, as the shade covered her, and cooled her down immensely. She looked above her; she saw something that made her freeze in terror and amazement.

Out of the ocean, towering above the world was a huge serpent. It was a dark red colour; it was looking down at her, with its huge green eyes. It had giant purple spines, reaching down its back.

It opened it massive jaw, and reached its long pink, forked tongue toward the ground. Out of its gaping maw, walked a beautiful woman; she wore a wondrous white gown.

She had snow white hair, which danced in the magic wind, swirling around the amazing scene. Her paper white skin blended in with the rest of her.

She opened her eyes, they were a dazzling red. Sophie felt herself walking, up closer to the serpent and the woman, she couldn’t help herself.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a thousand cherry blossoms fell from the sky, swirling down, covering the beach entirely. Sophie was still walking, closer and closer to the woman.

Until she stopped, right at the serpent’s tongue. She blinked, and she was lying on the beach, surrounded by a thousand cherry blossoms. “Did that really happen?” she thought. And she never found out.
