Sitting alone every day
I often think about
The pain and sorrow I cause
To everyone I care about

Music is my best friend
I love it as it travels through my ear
The sound of the bass thumping
I could sit and listen for an entire year

It’s my only escape
From this joke of a reality
With nowhere left to go
I feel like an abnormality

My friends have left me isolated
My family thinks im an outcast
Without them standing behind me
I am often reminded of my past

Cuts, sorrow, and heartbreak
These are familiar to me
So alone I live my life
As if this is where I am supposed to be…
