It was a house up on a hill. Nothing about the house was normal. The floorboards would creak on their own, scratch marks on the wall behind the bed, and bloody footprints leading to the bedroom would appear overnight. Discover what happened to Koh and the house's history before Ken and John visited and opened the basement.

"Is there anything else you need help with Evans?"

I shook my head.

"It's alright.  Thanks for the help."

Matt nodded and walked back to his car.  I faced my new house, and smiled.  It was atop a hill, so I had full view of the neighborhood from my window.  I re-entered the house, shutting the door behind me.  Boxes and luggages were piled in the corner of the guest room.

"Well this is a nice house but...It's going to be a pain to unpack everything..."

I looked around the house.  Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, except the previous owner not bringing the phone and bed.  It was late, and I was exhausted, so I decided to sleep.

"I guess I'll unpack tomorrow..."

Just as I was on the brink of Dreamworld, I heard the phone go off.

"Who could be calling me at this hour?!".

I groggily walked to the phone and answered it.

"Koh? That you?"

"Yeah...How'd you know the old owner's number?"

"Stop messing with me like that Evans.  I called your number.  This one."

The phone line went dead silent.  A few moments later, I spoke.

"I don't know if you're messing with me or not Matt.  I never touched my luggages or boxes when you left."

"You better watch your back, I'm coming for you."

I felt my jaw drop.

"D-did you speak...At all?"

"Just now?  No...Why?"

".....I'm sorry Matt.  I'm done for the night."

I hung up and went back to the bed.  I couldn't go on.  I woke early the next morning.  I stepped out the room, and immediately stopped.  Bloody footprints lead from outside my bedroom to the inside.  The phone's answering machine went off almost immediately afterward.

"Morning Evans.  And welcome to day one of your own little game of life, or death."

"No...No...This...This can't be happening..."

"Good luck.  You'll need it."

The message ran off to static for a few minutes.  I decided to clean off the blood.
