If I would just realize that I can't catch the wind,
it just continues to slip out of my hands
If I would just realize that nothing lasts forever,
not even the mountains

Than maybe this would hurt so much
But I don’t and now I must pretend like nothing is wrong,
Not even when I see him with that blond haired girl
The one who is pretty and gorgeous and has the face of an angel and the voice that drips with honey
I don’t think I can sit in this room any longer
Watching them laugh and kiss
I want to run over and slap her
but I cant… I wont…

So here I sit smiling a fake smile at every passerby
While inside my heart cringes and breaks again and again
