Hello everyone! I am currently working on a novel titled, "Diary Of A Serial Killer" and I need some help! As you can imagine, writing poetry and writing a fiction horror novel at the same time is no simple task. Which is where you come in! In the beggining of my book, I want to include 5-7 poems. I need derranged, psychotic, diabolical, and sadistic poetry. The best 5 poems will be featured in the beggining of the book, and I will give full credit to you, the author. all you need to do is comment below, with your first, and last name, and your poem. I'm going to make the dead-line May 16, 2011. Some things to keep in mind: -The main character's name is Alfred R. Harvey -He is a cannibal -The setting is in the 1880's -He is in love with a woman named Josephine M. Gertrude -They are both in their mid-20's. Just for this contest, I am going to post a sneak ''preview'' of Diary Of A Serial Killer. As follows; November 27th, 1875 "Killing is done through selfishness. Point blank. When someone tortures you to the point of suicidal tendancies, it makes you turn. You go beyond wanting to take your own life, into wanting to get rid of your actual problem. That person. After all, who ever said the blame was to be put on you? It's not. It is actually very far from it. If someone makes you spiral down into such deep depression, from prolonged mental and psychical abuse, who's to say that you can't take the matter into your own hands? When a single wolf is not worthy in a pack, all of the others abandon him. When he comes back, which they always do, the entire pack takes part in killing him. They kill him because he was their problem, he was holding the whole pack away from doing what they needed to do. They gave the loner another chance at life, and left him. He came back, and they killed him. They took the matter into their own hands and personally solved their problem. It's okay for animals to kill one another. Tell me, are we not just animals ourselves? We have a right, just as the wolves, to kill another of our kind. Especially when someone thinks that they ave such a power over you that they may abuse you. If the problem is taken care of permentally, and with a lot of great consideration, it can be done in the flick of a wrist. After all, all you're doing is defending yourself. You are taking care of an escelating problem that is holding you from living your life. You have every right to. You have every right to kill someone." Best regards, Alfred R. Harvey
