I wish I could fly- far away.

A place with no school, no people, no pain.

A place I won’t be judged for simply being me.

But I guess that’s impossible.

When you have a broken wing, like me.

I’m stuck on this dry rotten land, flapping my wings- trying to fly.

But it's pointless. I just circle in the sand.

They all point and laugh at the flightless bird.

Watching her struggle.

Her pain, her fear.

Pointing and laughing. Oh, how it sucks to be me.

But just above their dreadful points, just above their haunting laughs.

Lies a sky so blue.

If only I could fly, way up there in the sky.

Along with all the birds that knew how to fly.

One last time, I’ll give it a go.

I’ll try to fly high. Just watch me go.

I’ll prove to you, that I can soar.

Then you can’t point and laugh anymore.

Just watch me. I know that I could do it.

Just watch me.

………………………………

See? You aren’t laughing anymore.
