Im tired of living this life Ive led

I dont care anymore

I could fall asleep if I close my eyes

I have nothing to do, no one to trust

I have used all my emotions way too much

So now I dont care and Im very tired

I'll only be excited for a bit but then the spark dies out quickly

My eyes are closing

Im so tired as I wait for you

All I can do now is wait...

You are taking so long to find me in this darkness

I sit alone in the corner

I keep shifting my positions and twidling my fingers

I look across the room into the tempting light

There are people laughing and dancing

They have given up on looking for their own One

I tell myself you are looking for me

I tell myself you are close

So I shall sit here until you arrive

I dare not leave in case you should come when im gone

I dare not sleep in case you might over look me

I close my eyes and listen for the voices of those upstairs

They are the voices of those who waited

Those who finally found their One

A tear slides down as I smile

Soon I will be one of those voices who waited and found their One

I keep telling myself you are in this town

Searching each house and opening each door

Carefully scanning before you move on

I tell myself that although im in the darkest part of the room,

that if I wait here you will find me without a doubt

You'll reach out to me and hold on tight

You will pull me out of here and we will stay together forever

I know in my heart you will find me and when you do you will make sure we never seperate

You will make sure I never find myself once again in that dark corner

Your love will cast away the shadows in my life and I will need to fear no more ever again.
