A poem about the concept of "you live and learn" and even though for some things we wish we could turn back the clock, we just have to move forward with our lives.

Clothes still wet from the night before
Caught again in the rain,
Blind in one eye, caused by sad incident,
Getting sleepy but still it looks feigned.
But I got

Money to burn, bridges to draw
Lessons to learn, breaking the law
Chapters to write down, pages to turn
Live like a pauper with money to burn.

Misallocation, how do you do?
Trying the best that I can
Hellbound on my intentional road
Crowded like each other man.

Money to burn, bridges to draw
Lessons to learn, breaking the law
Chapters to write down, pages to turn
Live like a pauper with money to burn.

I’d give it all away
Even the movie rights
The memory of every day
The burning of every night.
I just ache that my mistakes
Kept us apart for so long
So sorry I was so wrong…

Money to burn, bridges to draw
Lessons to learn, breaking the law
Chapters to write down, pages to turn
Live like a pauper with money to burn.
