Lying down while watching the stars twinkling around the

moon. The wind started to blow cold on my weak body, can

feel the chilling inside me, my bones started to froze.

As I raise my hand trying to touch the sky I can see my

pale skin. Flashback replayed. Those beautiful

smile he wore everyday, making my day perfect. The jokes

he crack's to kill the boredom day. Still those memories

can't be erased from my mind. My heart is calling his

name, my mind is searching for his love. The promised we

carved from each other. My hair is blown away from my

face revealing my past. Am missing him so much that I want

to be with him right now, but have to wait. The night was

so long for me and the dawn is approaching. The sun

started to rise, a new day will be painted again. As the

sun rays touched me my eyes slowly closing not for the

light but for me to rest. I spend too much remembering him

and had'nt notice the time. Now is the time to say

thank you for the life being given to me. The happiness

shared to me, the time that I spend. It's time for me to

say goodbye to the world I once lived. I really miss him

that I can't wait another time. As the sun positioned to

it's brightest light I can feel my body fading away.

A bittersweet poem about a love lost but remembered. I liked how this felt like a journey through the person left behind and how they finally accept death to once again be with the one they loved. Thanks for sharing.
