Your eyes hide

everything

I've ever wanted to find.

Glazed over and red, like a

sunrise on the sea.

I am a sailor on

your waters,

and I fear the moment

morning comes.

I breathe in your smell;

like pine needles and the

books with

yellowed pages.

My arms around your neck, we're

swaying

to the sound of people falling

in lust,

or love.

Whichever comes first.

Your hands on my waist,

and I can't help but

wonder if

you feel the same

rise and fall in

the core of your chest.

I'm falling

apart.

But then

you smile, and a thousand

creases emerge around

your eyes.

Those eyes that

hide

everything

I've ever wanted to find.
